Dive Mobile - Somerset PADI, IAHD & DSAT Scuba Diver Training - Instructor & Scuba Diving Courses in South West England

Dive Mobile is Somerset's only PADI National Geographic Dive Centre and is located in Blackford, only 10 minutes from Junction 22 off the M5. Click here for the map. Dive Mobile is also a PADI Five Star Instructor Development (NVQ Vocational) Centre, Duke of Edinburgh Full Access Organisation, HSE First Aid at Work Training Facility, the UK Office for Scuba Scene Ltd and the first worldwide stockist of DNA Divewear.

The centre is open all year round, Tuesday 9.30am-2pm, Wednesday 9.30am-5.30pm, Thursday 9.30am-5.30pm, Friday 9.30am-5.30pm, Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm, with Sundays a diving day! On site, the shop offers kit sales, repairs and servicing, and a heated training tank means that there is always a good reason to jump in the water.

GOING PRO?

We have Divemaster (DM) courses (both internships and practical training exercises) running at a timescale to suit you.

Our next PADI Instructor Development Course, (IDC), is starting on the 8th Febraury 2010 and runs over weekends and evenings to minimise disrubtion to the working week. We are aiming to complete it in time for the May Instructor Examination in Bistol.

Our next PADI Assistant Instructor, (AI), Course is starting on the 8th February 2010. The next PADI Open Water Scuba
Instructor Course, (OWSI) is starting on the 15th March 2010.

We have IDC staff courses running the same time as IDC, MSDT prep can be done during or after IDC or IE.

Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) courses are running before and during IDC/AI programs

October's Specialty of the Month is Night Diver.

We turn our attention to Night diving during October's spec of the month. With the nights closing in, if you want to get wet after work your going to be doing it in the dark!

You learn techniques for diving in low light or dark conditions looking at different equipment considerations and finally you'll conduct 3 open water dives under the supervision of a PADI Night Specialty Instructor

Night Diver Course - price 3 dives - £135

2 dives (if you have already completed an adventure dive) - £100

Price includes equipment hire, manual, certification and tuition.
